July 29, 2015 | by Aline Barros

Artículo original

The 6th annual Salvadoran-American Day Festival is scheduled to take place on Sunday, Aug. 2, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Wheaton Triangle, at the corner of Reedie Drive and Grandview Avenue, one block north of the Wheaton Metro Station.

The festival will celebrate the Montgomery County and the Metro region’s Salvadoran community.

County Executive Ike Leggett will lead a delegation from Montgomery County to El Salvador in November.

In this MyMCMedia Extra, Cindy Pena talks to local officials who share their thoughts on the importance of continuing the relationship with one of the largest Latino populations in the county.
